Investigations and Activities Committee
Il comitato si propone di coadiuvare EPPO nel disseminare nell’opinione pubblica europea i risultati conseguiti nell’esercizio del proprio mandato istituzionale.
In particolare, il comitato si concentra sulla divulgazione e sul commento di due distinte aree tematiche.
Il primo ambito di interesse riguarda i più importanti risultati operativi conseguiti dalla Procura europea nell’ambito delle proprie indagini penali: si tratta degli arresti e dei sequestri conseguiti per la tutela degli interessi finanziari dell’Unione e per gli altri “eurocrimini” di competenza di EPPO.
Il secondo ambito di interesse riguarda le procedure organizzative interne di EPPO volte a migliorare l’efficacia del proprio mandato istituzionale. Tra queste, particolare risalto verrà riservato ai protocolli di intesa stipulati con le Autorità Giudiziarie inquirenti e con le Forze di polizia nazionali.
